So, here we are.
A lot has changed.
It seems I stopped on my site, and then I changed in many, many ways.
What I personally think is a huge change is my taste in music. I never really cared much for any music. But then, one day, I decided to buy “Let It Be” by The Beatles.
My God, did that change so much?
Now, my favorite song is “Piano Man” by Billy Joel followed closely by “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen and “Hey Jude” by The Beatles. I am freaking obsessed with “It’s Late” by Queen. I own two albums and a few miscellaneous songs of The Beatles, an album and several other songs by Queen, an album of Elton John, and much more.
I get a lot of crap from people about me being into music from the 20th century.
Now, don’t get me wrong: I’m not one of those really annoying kids who say they were born in the wrong generation. I just don’t care for any modern music. It’s not my style.
I’m just really into Classic Rock.
I listen to Queen all the time.
I know how to play “Piano Man” and the “Bennie and the Jets” chords on the piano.
I sing along to all the songs I own all the time.
I just don’t care about modern music. I personally don’t like any of it. Some may say I’m ignorant and just looking at the lowest lows of modern music, but there must be many, many lows of that… stuff.
Plus, it’s hard to not look at that when some of my closest friends enjoy Justin Bieber and Kanye and… God, it’s not good! I know it’s just my opinion, but it’s hard to deal with that. Especially when one of my friends always posts on Instagram screenshots of her listening to her favorite songs.
Anyway, I’m glad sitting over here with the other people that are into Classic Rock.
Keep rocking on!
